Accounting Assistant

Responsibilities:

• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions accurately and on time
• Reconcile daily cash receipts and sales records from multiple locations
• Assist with monthly bank reconciliations and financial reporting
• Maintain and organize financial records, invoices, and supporting documentation
• Support payroll processing and employee expense tracking
• Communicate with vendors and suppliers regarding billing and payment inquiries
• Assist senior accounting staff with audits, budgeting, and data entry tasks

Requirements:

• 1+ years of experience in an accounting, bookkeeping, or finance support role
• Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks Online or similar platforms
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills and comfort working with spreadsheets
• High attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial recordkeeping
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
• Strong organizational and time management skills with ability to meet deadlines
• Professional, trustworthy, and able to handle confidential financial information
