Accounting Assistant - Mountaineer Honda

Mountaineer Honda is hiring an Accounting Assistant to support our accounting team across multiple dealership locations. This is a great opportunity to start or grow a career in accounting in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

The Work

Accounts Receivable

• Post daily bank deposits
• Track charge accounts and follow up on past-due balances
• Keep customer records accurate; resolve account questions
• Set up new customer charge accounts

Accounts Payable

• Support AP across multiple dealership locations
• Post daily invoices
• Reconcile monthly statements
• Onboard and maintain vendor records

Additional Responsibilities

• Backup coverage at the rental desk when needed
• Process warranty cancellations
• Assist with accounting/admin projects as they come up

You're a Fit If You Have

• Some background in accounting, bookkeeping, AP, or AR (helpful but not required)
• An eye for detail and a knack for staying organized
• Comfort juggling deadlines and shifting priorities
• Solid Excel skills
• High School diploma or equivalent
• A valid driver's license 
• Dealership experience a plus, but not required
