Job Description
Johnson Service Group is seeking an Accounting Assistant in Orange County, CA. This is a Hybrid position
Monday-Friday 8am- 5:00pm
Pay rate: $30.00 per hour DOE
Required Skills:
- Daily in and out cash transactions reporting
- Data validation
- Assisting with month end close reporting
- Strong Excel Skills
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics
- Solid understanding of U.S. GAAP and general accounting principles
- Demonstrated integrity and a collaborative team mindset
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience with insurance products such as vehicle service contracts or GAP insurance
- Prior experience in audit support and financial statement preparation
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics
- 1 year of experience in accounting, with industry-specific knowledge advantageous
Other Requirements a plus:
- Willingness to support month-end close, audit, and compliance activities
- Ability to prepare journal entries, reconciliations, and detailed financial reports
- Occasional participation in control testing and audit processes
