Creative Financial Staffing is partnered with a construction company located in Pawtucket, RI seeking an Accounting Assistant to join their team.

- They service companies in varied industries including biotech, healthcare, manufacturing, and hospitality
- This position works with the accounting group but also is front-facing, allowing interaction with all departments
Responsibilities of the Accounting Assistant:
- Process accounts payable invoices
- Forward information to proper parties for AP approval
- Act as receptionist including answering incoming calls, sorting mail, and assisting visitors
- Ensure availability of office supplies and ordering items when necessary
- Create ad hoc reports for construction staff
Background Expected of the Accounting Assistant:
- 1+ year(s) of experience in an office environment
- Associate degree in accounting or business is a plus but not required
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Products
