    Job Description

     
    FUTREND Technology Inc. has an opening for an Accountant working as part of a Team of dedicated Accounting professionals, supporting one of our customers in the Federal Government. This position will be a combination of remote work and  at the client's onsite location in Bethesda, MD on occasion.

    Roles and Responsibilities
     
    • Process large volume of Intra Goverment Payment and Collection using Treasury IPAC system
    • Track payment and receiving status and follow up with Government POC
    • Answer inquiries
    Minimum Requirements:
    • 1+ years Accounting/Business/Finance/Operations Experience
    • Excellent attention to details
    • Solid Excel Skills – vlookup, pivot tables
    • Ability to communicate clearly written and orally
    • Bachelor’s degree or higher from a four year college in Accounting,
    • Must be able to pass a Public Trust background security investigation and obtain clearance to work on a Government Contract
    • US Citizens or Permanent Residents only.
     
    Preferred requirements:
    • Experience with Oracle Financials 
    • Experience with process improvement
    • Experience with Government Contracting 
    • Experience with PMS
