The Opportunity
This is a unique opportunity for a detail-oriented and technology-savvy Accounting Associate to support the back-office accounting operations of our growing organization. In this role, you will work alongside a highly collaborative team to help ensure efficient financial processes, maintain accurate records, and contribute to the organization's continued success.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the day-to-day administration of client escrow accounts
  • Monitor daily funding levels to ensure sufficient balances are available for upcoming payments
  • Communicate with clients to coordinate additional funding when necessary
  • Process payments, including checks, wire transfers, and ACH transactions
  • Analyze and accurately record incoming payments
  • Reconcile bank accounts, internal systems, and loss reports to ensure accuracy and completeness
  • Prepare and deliver detailed client reports, including monthly and ad hoc reporting requests
  • Maintain the integrity and accuracy of financial data within core accounting systems.
  • Respond promptly and professionally to client and internal inquiries
  • Develop clear, effective electronic communications that foster strong client relationships and partnerships
  • Evaluate existing processes and systems and recommend enhancements to improve efficiency, accuracy, and long-term scalability
  • Participate in special projects and other duties as assigned
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field preferred, or equivalent accounting experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years of accounting or bookkeeping experience
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other business software applications
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and technical skills
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with colleagues, management, clients, and other stakeholders
