Accounting Associate

Kforce's client, a growing and fast-paced organization is seeking an Accounting Associate to support general ledger activities, month-end close, and core accounting operations. This role offers strong exposure to financial reporting, reconciliations, and process improvement within a dynamic environment. This position will be on-site full-time in the Saint Louis, MO area.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain general ledger and record daily financial transactions, including AP, cash activity, and journal entries
• Support month-end close, including reconciliations, accruals, and financial reporting
• Perform daily reconciliation of trading positions and investigate discrepancies to ensure accuracy
• Manage accounts payable processes, including vendor onboarding, coding, and 1099 reporting
• Partner with external accounting providers (fund administrators) on close activities
• Assist with audit preparation and provide support during external audits
• Review employee expense reimbursements for policy compliance
• Execute cash transfers and support treasury activities
• Assist with internal compliance reviews and documentation
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency
