Summary:
A growing, mission driven real estate organization is seeking a detail oriented Accounting & Bookkeeping Specialist to support daily financial operations and contribute to a wide range of real estate and community focused initiatives. This role is ideal for someone with strong accounting fundamentals who is excited to expand their skills in areas such as property management, real estate development, and non profit operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage accounts payable/receivable, reconciliations, and general bookkeeping
  • Maintain accurate financial data in QuickBooks
  • Support monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting
  • Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow tracking
  • Communicate with tenants, vendors, and community partners
  • Support property management and real estate operations as needed
This is a direct-hire, full-time position hiring immediately. The schedule will generally be Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Some Saturdays could be needed. Pay is commensurate with experience, starting salary is $55K per year. Qualifications

  • Accounting or bookkeeping experience (required)
  • QuickBooks experience or ability to learn quickly
  • Strong computer and technology skills
  • Clear written and verbal communication
  • Ability to work independently in a fast paced environment
  • Interest in real estate, property management, or social impact work
  • Experience with databases or property management software is a plus
