LHH is partnering with a growing organization in the Cincinnati, OH (West Chester area) to identify an Accounting Clerk for a contract-to-hire opportunity. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys supporting accounting and administrative operations. The selected candidate will work closely with internal teams to process documentation, reconcile accounts, maintain records, and support day-to-day financial transactions.

The ideal candidate is organized, dependable, and capable of managing a high volume of work while maintaining a high level of accuracy.

Responsibilities

  • Process and review financial and transactional documentation while ensuring accuracy and completeness.

  • Prepare and reconcile accounting-related records, reports, and supporting documentation.

  • Assist with account reconciliations, payment processing, refunds, and record maintenance.

  • Maintain organized electronic and physical files and update information in internal systems.

  • Support administrative functions including correspondence, document management, tracking, and reporting.

  • Collaborate with internal departments to research discrepancies, resolve issues, and ensure timely completion of tasks.

Qualifications

  • At least 1 year of accounting, bookkeeping, accounts receivable, accounts payable, finance support, or administrative experience

  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to accurately manage a high volume of transactions and documentation.

  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.

  • Strong problem-solving abilities and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

  • Reliable attendance and a professional, team-oriented attitude.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
