LHH is partnering with a growing organization in the Cincinnati, OH (West Chester area) to identify an Accounting Clerk for a contract-to-hire opportunity. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys supporting accounting and administrative operations. The selected candidate will work closely with internal teams to process documentation, reconcile accounts, maintain records, and support day-to-day financial transactions.
The ideal candidate is organized, dependable, and capable of managing a high volume of work while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
Responsibilities
Process and review financial and transactional documentation while ensuring accuracy and completeness.
Prepare and reconcile accounting-related records, reports, and supporting documentation.
Assist with account reconciliations, payment processing, refunds, and record maintenance.
Maintain organized electronic and physical files and update information in internal systems.
Support administrative functions including correspondence, document management, tracking, and reporting.
Collaborate with internal departments to research discrepancies, resolve issues, and ensure timely completion of tasks.
Qualifications
At least 1 year of accounting, bookkeeping, accounts receivable, accounts payable, finance support, or administrative experience
Strong attention to detail with the ability to accurately manage a high volume of transactions and documentation.
Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
Strong problem-solving abilities and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Reliable attendance and a professional, team-oriented attitude.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.

Pay Details: $20.00 to $22.00 per hour
