Accounting Clerk

Our client is seeking an Accounting Clerk to join their team. As an Accounting Clerk, you will be part of the Finance Department supporting the accounting and payroll functions. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and effective communication, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Accounting Clerk

Location: Barron or Cumberland, WI

Pay Range:  $20/hr

Shift: 1st

What's the Job?

• Process accounts payable and receivable transactions accurately and efficiently
• Maintain and organize payroll records and reports for multiple clients
• Prepare payroll tax filings, garnishment reports, and quarterly payroll reports
• Assist with year-end wage reports such as W-2, W-3, WT-7, and 940
• Support audits related to workers' compensation and insurance as required

What's Needed?

• Prior experience in accounting and payroll support
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to maintain accurate payroll and financial records
• Familiarity with payroll systems and electronic fund transfer processes
• Willingness to perform additional duties as assigned
