Position: Accounting Clerk

Jonesbororealtycompany is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to join our team on a full-time basis. As an Accounting Clerk, you will be responsible for assisting with various accounting tasks and ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our financial records.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process and record accounts payable and receivable transactions
- Prepare and issue invoices to clients
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card transactions
- Maintain and update financial records and spreadsheets
- Assist with budget preparation and monitoring
- Conduct regular audits to ensure accuracy of financial data
- Communicate with vendors and clients to resolve any discrepancies or issues
- Assist with payroll processing and tax filings
- Support the accounting team with month-end and year-end close procedures
- Perform other administrative tasks as needed
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree in accounting or related field preferred
- 1-2 years of experience in a similar role
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and accounting software (QuickBooks preferred)
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent numerical and data entry skills
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of basic accounting principles and procedures
