Ralph Sellers Automotive Group, is growing and looking to add an Accounting Clerk to join their Accounting team located in Gonzales, LA. Ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, organized, thrive on accuracy, and enjoy working in a dynamic dealership environment that is able to manage deadlines and multiple tasks. Ability to follow process and procedures for Finance and Accounting tasks with accountability for following through to completeness.
Responsibilities:
- Review deals for completeness, accurate, and required documentation and prepare paperwork for the Title and Accounting clerks
- Process payoffs accurately and timely to receive title, follow up on any delayed titles
- Record wholesale and dealer trade sales transactions accurately and efficiently
- Warranty, Gap, ancillary products remittance and cancellations weekly
- Assist with Accounts Payable and Billing
- Communicate with F&I, Sales, Accounting managers to resolve any discrepancies
- Cross training with other staff while working together to expand experience
- Support other team members and departments as needed
Qualifications:
- Required: minimum 1 year in an administrative position
- High school diploma or GED required
- Automotive and CDK or DealerTrack experience is a plus
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Exceptional attention to detail and organization
- Confidential and professional demeanor
- Able to multi-task and manage time effectively
