Claiborne Senior Living is seeking an organized and detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to support the day-to-day operations of our Accounting Department. The Accounting Clerk will support accounts payable, accounts receivable, reconciliations, credit card administration, and general accounting workflows.

What You’ll Do
- Support daily accounting operations through accurate recordkeeping and document management
- Assist with accounts payable, including invoice coding, approvals, and processing
- Support accounts receivable, including billing, deposits, and payment tracking
- Manage and reconcile company credit card activity and supporting documentation
- Reconcile bank statements, accounts, and ledger entries to identify discrepancies
- Prepare accounting reports and maintain accurate financial records
- Research and correct transaction or account discrepancies as needed
- Partner with accountants and accounting leadership to support department workflows and deadlines
What We’re Looking For
- Previous administrative, clerical, bookkeeping, or accounting support experience
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
- Excellent organization, time management, and ability to meet deadlines
- Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and comfort learning accounting software
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree in accounting, business, or a related field preferred
