POSITION SUMMARY
Performs a range of general clerical, accounting and administrative support functions in the Accounting Department.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
1. General accounts receivable functions
· Prepare and submit customer invoices
· Prepare and coordinate deposits
· Code, post and receipt payments
· Perform document imaging of Accounts Receivable documents
2. General accounts payable functions
· Check, verify and process invoices
· Sort, code and enter accounts payable data
· Analyze discrepancies and unpaid invoices
· Maintain vendor files
· Sort and mail check payments to vendors
· Perform document imaging of Accounts Payable documents
3. General support functions
· Maintain accounting files and financial records
· Assist in month end reporting procedures
· Assist with employee expense reports
· Perform filing and general administrative tasks
· Liaise with other departments/customers/vendors
