Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to join our team on a full-time basis. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and be familiar with various accounting software and systems. As an Accounting Clerk, you will be responsible for assisting with day-to-day accounting tasks, such as data entry, reconciliations, and financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

- Perform daily data entry of financial transactions into the company's accounting software

- Reconcile bank and credit card statements

- Prepare and process invoices, payments, and expense reports

- Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures

- Maintain accurate and organized financial records

- Generate financial reports and assist with budgeting and forecasting

- Communicate with vendors, clients, and other stakeholders to resolve any accounting discrepancies

- Assist with other accounting duties as needed

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field is preferred

- 1-2 years of experience in accounting or bookkeeping

- Strong knowledge of basic accounting principles and procedures

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and accounting software, such as QuickBooks or Sage

- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy

- Strong organizational and time-management skills

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
