Our client is seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to join their team. Reporting directly to the CFO, this position will support day-to-day accounting and bookkeeping operations, including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, reconciliations, and general accounting tasks. Accounting Clerk Responsibilities

• Prepare and submit customer invoices

• The Accounting Clerk will receive, code, and post customer payments

• Perform account, bank, and general ledger reconciliations

• Monitor customer accounts for non-payment or delayed payments

• The Accounting Clerk will verify and process vendor invoices

  
  
• 
  

• Sort, code, and enter Accounts Payable transactions

  
  
• 
  

• Research discrepancies and resolve outstanding invoice and payment issues

  
  
• 
  

• The Accounting Clerk will maintain accurate accounting journals, ledgers, and financial records

• Assist with employee expense reports and related documentation

  
  
• 
  

• Provide general accounting and administrative support as needed

Qualifications of the Accounting Clerk Role

• 
  

• Previous accounting, bookkeeping, Accounts Payable, or Accounts Receivable experience preferred

  
  
• 
  

• Experience with QuickBooks and Microsoft Office

  
  
• 
  

• Knowledge of GAAP and standard accounting procedures

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
