We’re Hiring! Accounting Clerk – PIPESTONE (Pipestone, MN)
Are you detail-oriented, organized, and looking to kick-start your accounting career? PIPESTONE is seeking an Entry-Level Accounting Clerk to join our team and support financial operations across our Business Units.
What You’ll Do
- Handle daily accounting functions
- Enter AP invoices + process vendor payments
- Invoice and reconcile customer cash receipts
- Analyze general ledger accounts for accuracy and timeliness
- Reconcile monthly bank statements
- Assist with reconciling AR, inventory, and prepaid accounts
- Support end-of-month close procedures
- Prepare and submit weekly vendor payments (checks or ACH)
- Jump in on additional accounting projects as needed
What We’re Looking For
- Associate or bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 1 year of accounting experience (or equivalent)
- Strong attention to detail and organization
- Basic understanding of tax/cash basis accounting
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Problem-solving mindset
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office

Physical Requirements
- Standing/walking for 8–10 hours
- Frequent bending, reaching, kneeling, squatting
- Regular lifting of 3–20 lbs; occasional lifting up to 50 lbs
- Effective verbal and written communication
- Ability to attend meetings as needed
