Our client is a rapidly growing Private Equity backed healthcare advisory business who are looking to add a Senior Consultant - Financial Due Diligence to their team. The company has enjoyed incredible success in the last few years' and are seeking a candidate with a similar background to join their team as they continue their expansion.

The ideal candidate must come from Big Four Public Accounting and have a CPA.


REQUIREMENTS:


The Senior Consultant contributes to the success of the firm by serving as a key member of client engagement teams, influencing project plans and direction in a meaningful way.


A Senior Consultant serves as the primary staff on client engagements and generally works across multiple engagements, collaborating closely with colleagues and leaders. They also assume supervisory and training responsibilities as they progress through the role.



KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:



  • Establish client relationships and acts as a point of contact for engagements.

  • Serves as the primary staff on client engagements and performs engagement tasks under the direction of the leader.

  • Analyze, synthesize, and interpret data to inform client recommendations.

  • Conduct stakeholder interviews, as necessary.

  • Assist in the design and implementation of recommended solutions, producing client-ready deliverables that are accurate and well-sourced.

  • Apprise the Manager of project status, including delays or potential issues, holding self and colleagues accountable for client deadlines and deliverables.

  • Under the direction of the leader, prepare clear, concise presentations of findings to clients.

  • Develop frameworks, learning materials, or assets to help build service line knowledge.

  • Assist with presentation development for RFPs, client proposals, external speaking events and supports the team with publishing. Presents at internal speaking events as requested.

  • Assists with presentation development for external speaking events, as requested.

  • Cultivate a network of industry contacts in support of business development efforts. Gets involved in a professional association and attends network events.

  • Assist in establishing engagement direction, priorities, and expectations, tracking tasks and informing leader of potential issues.

  • Complete administrative functions, mandatory training, and other internal responsibilities in a timely manner.

  • Remain flexible and adaptable in work schedules and assignments as defined by departmental and company need.

  • Demonstrate intellectual curiosity and a commitment to continuous learning.

  • Maintain a positive attitude and contribute to a positive work environment.

  • Perform detailed, quantitative analyses; building Microsoft Excel models; and preparing operational and financial projections.

  • Utilize financial modeling to prepare analyses that form the basis of solutions and recommendations.

  • As applicable, convert cash-basis accounting to accrual-basis accounting.



QUALIFICATIONS:



  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field. Master's degree preferred.

  • Minimum of 2+ years of professional experience, preferably in financial statement auditing or financial consulting roles. Healthcare industry experience, preferred.

  • Minimum requirement: have passed all 4 parts of the CPA exam, fully licensed preferred.



KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:



  • Demonstrates attention to detail and a commitment to excellence in work product and service.

  • Strong oral and written communication skills, demonstrating responsiveness to clients and colleagues. Basic competence public speaking.

  • Ability to demonstrate insight and professional judgment, with an aptitude for critical thinking.

  • Takes initiative and is proactive.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and applicable software tools.

  • Ability to think critically and apply abstract concepts to unique situations and scenarios
