METCOR/LSI is seeking an exceptional Accounting & Contracts Coordinator to serve as a trusted partner to executive leadership in a fast-paced government contracting environment. This is a highly visible role requiring an initiative-taking, resourceful, and adaptable professional who can anticipate needs, manage competing priorities, and execute with precision and professionalism.The ideal candidate is highly organized, responsive, and meticulous, with exceptional communication skills and the ability to operate with complete discretion. This individual will provide executive, operational, and administrative leadership support across multiple business functions while supporting the unique demands of the federal contracting lifecycle including proposal activities, contract administration, compliance requirements, customer engagement, tracking, executive reporting, and special projects.This position requires the highest level of integrity and confidentiality and the ability to manage sensitive executive, financial, personnel, contractual, and proprietary information.Duties and Responsibilities in the Accounting & Contracts Coordinator role:Manage complex executive calendars, schedules, and priorities.Coordinate meetings, prepare agendas, presentations, reports, and executive correspondence.Arrange and manage travel, itineraries, and expense reporting.Serve as a liaison between executive leadership and internal and external stakeholders.Track action items and ensure timely follow-through on executive priorities and strategic initiatives.Coordinate special projects and cross-functional initiatives from inception through completion.Assist with contract administration, proposal support, compliance activities, and document management.Maintain organized files, records, and reporting systems.Support meetings with customers, team partners, subcontractors, and government stakeholders.Identify issues proactively and implement practical solutions.Provide support across business functions as organizational needs evolve.Education and Experience for the Accounting & Contracts Coordinator role:Bachelor's degree preferred in Contracts & Acquisition, Business Administration, Political Science or equivalent combination of education and experience.Minimum of five (5) years of administrative support experience.Minimum of three (3) years of experience in the government contracting industry.Direct experience supporting C-suite executives in a fast-paced environment.Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams.Exceptional organizational, communication, and project management skills.Ability to manage multiple priorities with professionalism, urgency, and diligence.Location and physical Requirements of the Accounting & Contracts Coordinator role:Work is performed in a hybrid capacity in a professional home office environment in addition to working from our Washington, DC, corporate office. Regular use of a laptop/computer and standard office technology is required.
