Job Summary

Behind every seamless dining experience is a strong operational foundation - and that's where you come in. Canteen, a division of Compass Group, is seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Coordinator to support the financial and administrative backbone of our operations. In this role, you'll be a key partner to our operations team, ensuring accuracy, accountability, and smooth day-to-day processes that keep our business running efficiently.

What You'll Do

• Process payroll and submit human resources forms accurately and on time
• Process vendor payables, prepare and submit payment requests, and manage journal entry transfers
• Maintain client accounts, prepare accounts receivable invoices, and follow up on delinquent accounts through collection calls
• Reconcile cash received against cash recorded, and reconcile inventory to ensure accuracy
• Assist with invoice entry, transfers, and research on outstanding accounts payable
• Maintain organized, accurate filing of paid invoices
• Enter and balance purchasing card receipts
• Enter and maintain accurate, up-to-date data within inventory systems
• Enter, submit, and follow up on work orders, escalating as needed to keep projects moving
• Support the broader team with additional duties as assigned

• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy in financial recordkeeping
• Comfort working with payroll, accounts payable/receivable, and reconciliation processes
• Clear, professional communication skills - you're comfortable following up with clients and vendors alike
• Ability to juggle multiple administrative and accounting tasks while meeting deadlines
• A proactive, organized approach and a team-player mindset
