Essential Duties and Responsibilities Accounting Support - Perform daily data entry and processing of accounting transactions.
- Assist with account reconciliations and research discrepancies.
- Maintain organized electronic and physical accounting records.
- Review reports for accuracy and completeness.
- Assist with month-end closing activities and supporting schedules.
- Prepare spreadsheets and reports as requested by management.
- Verify supporting documentation for accounting transactions.
- Assist with audit requests and documentation gathering.
RePayPlus Operations Support - Assist with tracking member payments, fees, and adjustments.
- Review payment reports and identify exceptions requiring investigation.
- Assist with reviewing bank and payment activity reports and identifying exceptions for further investigation
- Monitor outstanding items and escalate issues when appropriate.
- Maintain accurate records of member transactions and account activity.
Reinsurance Operations Support - Enter and maintain reinsurance-related records and schedules.
- Assist with tracking dealer participation balances and payouts.
- Reconcile carrier and administrator reports to internal records.
- Prepare supporting schedules for management review.
- Maintain organized documentation related to reinsurance transactions.
Administrative Responsibilities - Process incoming accounting-related requests.
- Organize and maintain department files and records.
- Assist with special projects and process improvement initiatives.
- Communicate professionally with internal departments and external partners.
- Perform other accounting and administrative duties as assigned.
Qualifications Education - Associate's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field required.
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field preferred.
Experience - 1–2 years of accounting, bookkeeping, banking, or administrative experience preferred.
- Experience with Microsoft Excel and data entry required.
- Experience in accounting, banking, insurance, or financial services is a plus.
- Insurance and reinsurance experience.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities - Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to follow established procedures and processes.
- Basic understanding of accounting concepts preferred.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of financial information.
