Position Summary:
The primary role of this Accounting Data Analyst is to support the data-based analysis used by the Accounting Team. This position requires interaction with all team members to understand and support company objectives. This position will also assist with the preparation of daily schedules and reconciliations supporting the daily financial controls and regulatory reporting, month-end financial preparation, assistance with periodic audits, and collaborate with other departments on ad hoc projects. The Accounting Data Analyst will report directly to the Controller to maximize development, learning and departmental efficiency.
JobResponsibilities:
+ Collaborate with team members to improve current report generation processes
+ Develop new analytic initiatives to support department objectives
+ Identify, source, enhance and manage financial data
+ Prepare daily spreadsheets supporting customer asset segregation reports and analysis
+ Prepare daily and monthly account reconciliations
+ Assist in preparing daily, monthly, and annual regulatory requirements
+ Assist with preparing and gathering data during audits
+ Prepare revenue and expense analysis and expense accrual
JobRequirements:
+ Bachelor’s degree in accounting-, finance, business-, or technology-related field
+ Minimum 3 years accounting/data analysis experience
+ Advanced database and analytics skills, including SQL and experience with reporting tools (e.g., Power BI)
+ Strong core data literacy, including the ability to interpret charts, tables, and KPIs and to question data quality and assumptions
+ Strong organizational skills and a high level of attention to detail
+ Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills, with the ability to translate data findings into practical recommendations
+ Excellent oral and written communication skills, including the ability to explain analytical results to non-technical stakeholders
+ Advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly in Excel (formulas, pivot tables, and dashboards)
+ Promotes the ADM Way and Core Values
PreferredQualifications:
+ Experience working with large or complex financial datasets, including data cleansing, reconciliation, and validation
+ Proficiency in data analysis and data visualization techniques (e.g., Excel, Power BI, or similar tools)
+ Proficiency in MS Dynamics 365, experience in using queries, GMI or similar systems.
+ Experience in futures or the financial services industry
+ Demonstrated ability to take ownership of analytical projects, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
+ Previous experience collaborating with management and reporting financial results
+ Experience in a collaborative culturally diverse and inclusive environment ADM requires the successful completion of a pre-employment background check.

Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Hourly and salaried non-exempt employees will also be paid overtime pay when working qualifying overtime hours.
If hired, employees will be in an “at-will position” and the Company reserves the right to modify base pay (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
