What You’ll Do:



  • Own and direct all accounting functions—from ledger management to detailed fund accounting and financial reporting.
  • Lead, inspire, and develop a talented accounting team, including managers and payroll experts.
  • Establish and uphold robust accounting standards, ensuring compliance with industry best practices and regulatory guidance.
  • Steer month-end and year-end closings with precision and punctuality.
  • Craft and interpret vital financial reports—balance sheets, cash flows, and variance analyses—to empower leadership decisions.
  • Maintain and optimize the Chart of Accounts to meet evolving organizational needs.
  • Oversee bank reconciliations, safeguarding accuracy and minimizing risk.
  • Spearhead grant budgeting, billing, and compliance tracking to align with funding requirements.
  • Collaborate closely with Development teams to ensure transparent and compliant fund management.
  • Manage audit preparations and coordinate seamlessly with external auditors.
  • Champion automation initiatives to streamline accounting workflows.
  • Drive budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling to support strategic planning.
  • Onboard and mentor new team members, fostering growth and aligning with our culture.
  • Provide thoughtful financial guidance to senior leaders to enhance operational success.
  • Embody and promote our company values in every interaction.




What You Bring:



  • A bachelor’s degree in Accounting and at least 7 years of solid accounting experience.
  • Expert skills in Microsoft Excel and a detail-driven approach.
  • Deep expertise in fund accounting alongside a thorough understanding of GAAP and FASB standards.
  • Strong organizational abilities—managing multiple priorities and delivering on deadlines.
  • Sharp analytical mind coupled with practical, high-impact problem-solving skills.
  • Stellar interpersonal skills & emotional intelligence to engage effectively across teams.
