The incumbent in this role will provide strategic leadership and oversight in the development and implementation of the Accounting Division's strategic goals and priorities. This includes budget development and financial oversight to ensure the integrity ofthe County's General Ledger, ensuring all reconciliations are completed in a timely manner, and maintaining the chart of accounts in compliance with Georgia's Uniform Chart of Accounts. Additionally, the incumbent will oversee the annual external audit and the preparation of the County's annual reports including the Budget Document and the Annual Comprehensive Financial Report.
