Accounting & Finance Manager

Position Summary

Our client is seeking an Accounting & Finance Manager to lead accounting operations and financial planning activities while providing strategic insights that support business growth and operational performance. This role will oversee key financial processes, enhance reporting capabilities, and partner with leadership to drive informed decision-making.

This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on finance leader who enjoys balancing day-to-day accounting responsibilities with forward-looking financial analysis. The ideal candidate combines strong technical accounting knowledge with business acumen and a passion for improving processes, reporting, and overall financial visibility.

What You'll Do

• Oversee daily accounting operations and financial reporting activities
• Lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes
• Manage general ledger accounting, reconciliations, reporting, and financial statement preparation
• Develop and maintain budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow planning processes
• Analyze financial performance and provide actionable insights to leadership
• Create and enhance management reporting, dashboards, and key performance metrics
• Partner with operational leaders to evaluate business trends, profitability, and performance drivers
• Strengthen financial controls, policies, and accounting procedures
• Identify opportunities for process improvements, automation, and operational efficiencies
• Support system enhancements and the effective use of financial technology tools
• Assist with audit coordination and relationships with external financial partners and advisors
• Lead, mentor, and develop accounting and finance team members
• Support strategic initiatives, business planning, and organizational growth efforts

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 7+ years of progressive accounting and finance experience
• CPA or other professional certification preferred
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and accounting principles
• Experience managing month-end close and financial statement preparation
• Strong financial analysis and business partnering skills
• Experience developing and improving financial processes and controls
• Advanced proficiency with ERP systems, financial software, and Microsoft Excel
• Ability to translate financial data into meaningful business recommendations
• Strong communication, leadership, and project management abilities
• Experience working in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment preferred
