Job Description Job Description A well-established mid-sized manufacturing company in the Irondale area is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accounting & HR Manager to join our team. This position plays a key role in supporting the company's accounting, payroll, and human resources functions.The ideal candidate will have strong accounting experience, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.ResponsibilitiesManage full accounts receivable process including:Customer invoicingMonthly statementsCollections and follow-up on past-due accountsHandle invoicing for a large customer base with varying billing complexitiesInterface with payroll service provider to process payroll updatesMaintain employee salary and hourly pay recordsAssist with onboarding of new employeesCoordinate with the company's 401(k) providerMaintain personnel files and employee recordsAssist with administration and updates of the employee handbookInterface with health insurance provider, including Blue CrossSupport general accounting and administrative functions as neededQualificationsBachelor's degree in Accounting or FinanceManufacturing accounting experience strongly preferredExperience with accounts receivable and collectionsStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsAbility to handle confidential information professionallyProficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word requiredPayroll and HR administration experience preferredStrong communication and follow-up skills
