The ideal candidate is equally comfortable reviewing financial statements, managing payroll, improving internal processes, supporting employees, and ensuring the day-to-day business operations run smoothly.If you enjoy creating order, solving problems, supporting people, and helping leadership make informed decisions, we'd love to meet you.What You'll DoManage all day-to-day accounting operationsProcess bi-weekly payroll and commission reportingOversee accounts payable and vendor paymentsManage client billing and recurring invoicingReview accounts receivable and support collection effortsReconcile bank accounts, credit card accounts, and financial recordsComplete month-end and year-end closing proceduresMaintain accurate financial reporting and accounting recordsPrepare monthly financial summaries and management reportsMonitor cash flow and assist with budgeting activitiesCoordinate 401(k) administration and oversightManage business insurance renewals and administrationPrepare financial documentation for outside tax professionalsHuman Resources & Team SupportMaintain and update personnel recordsAssist managers with hiring and recruiting processesSupport employee onboarding and orientationSupport annual performance review and merit increase programsServe as a trusted resource for employee questions and concernsHelp strengthen and maintain High Five's positive cultureCoordinate employee recognition programs and company eventsManagement & AdministrationSupervise and support the Office AdministratorEnsure accurate contract setup and billing proceduresImprove systems, workflows, and operational efficiencyMaintain compliance with company policies and proceduresPartner with leadership on strategic initiatives and special projectsWhat Success Looks LikeIn this role, you'll help High Five:Manage the daily accounting functionsMaintain accurate and timely financial reportingStrengthen accounting processes and internal controlsSupport a healthy, positive workplace cultureCreate operational efficiencies that allow the business to scaleProvide leadership with meaningful financial insights and recommendationsQualificationsRequiredHigh level of integrity, professionalism, and discretionBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field7+ years of accounting experienceAdvanced experience with QuickBooksStrong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reportingExperience managing payroll and employee-related financial processesExceptional organizational and time management skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlinesStrong written and verbal communication abilitiesPreferredExperience in a service-based business environmentPrevious supervisory or management experienceExperience with budgeting and cash flow forecastingExperience identifying and implementing process improvementsTo Thrive in this RoleAccountable and dependableDetail-oriented and organizedPositive and solution-focusedComfortable working independentlyCommitted to continuous improvementMotivated by helping both clients and teammates succeed#J-18808-Ljbffr
