Accounting Instructor
Reynolds Community College seeks qualified applicants for the position of Accounting Instructor in the School of Business and Industrial Trades. This full-time, nine-month faculty-ranked appointment offers the opportunity to teach, mentor, and help shape the future of our accounting program while contributing to a collaborative academic community.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Strong knowledge of principles in accounting and the ability to transfer the knowledge in relevant and meaningful ways to a diverse group of learners
- Ability to teach college-level accounting courses to include auditing, federal taxation, and cost accounting
- Ability to develop and adapt teaching and learning strategies to accommodate the diversity of community college students
- Experience with or ability to utilize proven teaching strategies that promote student success
- Ability to use or incorporate emerging technologies and alternative delivery methods to enhance classroom instruction
- Excellent interpersonal, analytical, and oral/written communication skills
- Available to teach a combination of day, evening, weekend, and online classes
