Position Overview and Responsibilities: A holistic, end-to-end experience in a corporate environment with access and visibility to senior executives, hands-on experience in financial reporting, managerial reporting, tax preparation and annual audit, and participation in daily tasks as well as special projects. Core hours of operation are 8:00am and 5:00pm Monday thru Friday.10 weeks (End of May through first week in August). Majors Areas of AccountabilityAssist with general accounting month-end closing proceduresMonthly financial statement and managerial reporting review and analysisPrepare financial reporting packagesAssist in data collection and entry in preparation for ASC 842 implementationPrepare documentation in support of external auditsPerform ad hoc reporting and analysis and investigate issues providing explanations and interpretationHandling sensitive or confidential information with honesty and integrityComplete special projects as needed and other duties assigned Education, Training and Experience Requirements: Must be actively enrolled in an undergraduate program at an accredited local University, with a major in Accounting or Finance.
