Salary: $85,000 – $95,000 + bonus

Key Responsibilities for the Accounting Manager:

• 
  
• Lead day-to-day accounting operations and financial close (monthly/quarterly/annual)
• 
  
• Review and approve financial statements, reconciliations, and journal entries
• 
  
• Oversee investor and lender reporting, ensuring compliance with deadlines
• 
  
• Manage audits and serve as primary liaison with external auditors
• 
  
• Provide cash management oversight across multiple accounts and entities
• 
  
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and process improvement initiatives
• 
  
• Will supervise 1-2 accountants
• 
  

Qualifications for the Accounting Manager:

• 
  
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• 
  
• 3-5+ years of progressive accounting experience
• 
  
• Multifamily / real estate / property accounting experience
• 
  
• Prior supervisory or team leadership experience preferred, with a focus on mentoring, developing, and guiding accounting staff
