Accounting Manager
Location: Austell, GA (Onsite)
Compensation: $90,000 – $100,000 base + 15% bonus
The Opportunity
We’re hiring an Accounting Manager to take ownership of a business segment responsible for approximately 50% of total company performance, specifically within a fast-moving, sales-driven line focused on electric power generators.
You’ll partner directly with leadership, influence decision-making, and bring structure to a complex, high-volume environment. If you enjoy stepping into ambiguity, improving processes, and making a visible impact, this role offers exactly that.
What You’ll Own
- Full financial oversight for a key business segment, including P&L and balance sheet accountability
- Revenue recognition strategy and execution (ASC 606) in a dynamic, transactional environment
- Monthly and year-end close processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
- Development and refinement of accounting policies, controls, and procedures
- Identification of inefficiencies and leadership of process improvement initiatives
- Cross-functional collaboration with Sales and Operations to ensure financial alignment
- Leadership of a growing team (starting with 1 direct report)

Your Background
- 6–8+ years of progressive accounting or finance experience
- Deep experience with revenue recognition (ASC 606 required)
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred)
- Exposure to sales-driven, operational, or product-based environments
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to solve problems and improve systems
