Well-established agriculture organization in Kern County, is seeking an Accounting Manager to oversee accounting operations, financial reporting, month-end close, and team leadership. Salary: $110,000 - $140,000 + Benefits

Manage daily accounting operations including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and financial reporting
Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes
Prepare and review financial statements in accordance with GAAP
Maintain account reconciliations and ensure accuracy of financial records
Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis efforts
Coordinate external audits and support tax preparation activities
Develop and maintain internal controls and accounting procedures
Supervise and mentor accounting staff
Partner with leadership to provide financial insights and support strategic decision-making
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
5+ years of accounting leadership experience
Prior experience within agriculture or manufacturing environments
Strong knowledge of month-end close, financial reporting, and GAAP
Experience managing accounting functions including AP, AR, payroll, and general accounting
