Accounting Manager
Location: Bakersfield, CA (Onsite)
Salary: $100,000 – $125,000 DOE

They're seeking an Accounting Manager who can lead the day-to-day accounting function while partnering with leadership to improve processes and support key business decisions.
This is more than a management role. You'll lead a talented accounting team, oversee financial operations, and help shape the financial direction of a growing organization.
As the Accounting Manager, you'll oversee the company's accounting operations, ensure timely and accurate financial reporting, and mentor a team of accounting professionals. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys balancing leadership, technical accounting, and process improvement.
Lead the month-end and year-end close process while ensuring accurate financial reporting
Manage the general ledger, account reconciliations, and financial statement preparation
Supervise and develop the accounting team while providing coaching and support
Partner with executive leadership on budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
Strengthen internal controls and identify opportunities to improve accounting processes
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required; CPA is a plus
5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including leadership responsibilities
Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and month-end close
Experience with ERP systems and advanced Excel skills
Leadership role with direct exposure to executive management
