    Description

    Accounting ManagerLocation: Bolingbrook, ILJob Id: 121# of Openings: 1ResponsibilitiesExecutes the monthly, quarterly, and annual close process across multiple entitiesPrepares journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedulesEnsures proper revenue recognition, accruals, and cutoff procedures in accordance with U.S. GAAPMaintains compliance with U.S. GAAP and internal accounting policiesEnsures timely and accurate reconciliation of general ledger accounts, including resolution of reconciling itemsReviews accounting processes and recommends improvements to increase efficiency while maintaining strong internal controlsPrepares and reviews financial reporting and analysis for internal management, headquarters, and external stakeholdersAssists the Controller with annual audit activities, including preparation and review of audit support documentationEnsures cross‑training and adequate backup coverage within the accounting teamEnsures preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting for internal management, external agencies, and banking or other financial partnersAssists in the annual budgeting process and related financial analysisPerforms or leads other duties and special projects as assignedQualificationsBachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance5+ years of progressive accounting experienceStrong knowledge of U.S. GAAPExperience supporting external auditsHands‑on ERP experience in a distribution or manufacturing environment.
