LHH Recruitment Solutions (pka Parker+Lynch) is partnering with a well-established, construction related firm looking for an Accounting Manager. This role will have great exposure to the CFO and plays a key part in supporting day-to-day accounting operations within a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong job costing/WIP experience who enjoys working in a construction environment and wants visibility with leadership while maintaining work-life balance.
Responsibilities:- Manage work-in-progress (WIP) accounting and job costing activities
- Prepare and review client invoicing and support contract tracking
- Supervise/manage accounting department staff
- Assist with payroll processing and related reconciliations
- Support month-end and year-end close processes
- Prepare financial reports and assist with analysis
- Support collections and cash application processes
- Identify process improvement opportunities and drive efficiencies
- Partner with accounting leadership and cross-functional teams on reporting and operations
Qualifications:- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required
- 5+ years of accounting experience, ideally in a project-based environment
- Strong experience with WIP, job costing, or percentage-of-completion accounting required
