Kforce has a client in Boston, MA that is seeking an Accounting Manager to join an established team on a long-term contract basis. This hybrid role will play a key part in core accounting operations and upcoming system initiatives, including exposure to a major ERP implementation. This is a highly visible opportunity for a hands-on leader who can step in and make an immediate impact. Key Responsibilities:
  • Support day-to-day general ledger accounting and financial operations
  • Lead and review account reconciliations and ensure accuracy of financial data
  • Contribute to month-end and year-end close processes
  • Assist with cost accounting, allocations, and transactional accounting activities
  • Provide support across various accounting functions and special projects
  • Collaborate with internal teams to drive process improvements and operational efficiency

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting
  • Strong general ledger accounting experience at a leadership level
  • Broad exposure to core accounting functions, including close and financial reporting processes
  • Experience working with ERP/accounting systems (Great Plains strongly preferred)
  • Ability to work in a hybrid environment with regular onsite presence
  • Willingness to commit to a long-term contract engagement

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
