Join our dynamic manufacturing business as a pivotal leader responsible for overseeing financial and operational functions within a hybrid work environment. In this strategic role, you will have direct influence on company growth and operational efficiency. Enjoy a highly competitive compensation package, including a strong bonus structure, and benefit from a work schedule that supports a healthy work-life balance.

Become a critical player within our newly acquired, autonomous manufacturing plant, supported by a more extensive parent organization. Your contributions will stabilize and enhance our accounting, payroll, HR, and office practices, driving us towards modernization and long-term scalability.

Key Responsibilities:

- Take charge of the monthly financial close, develop financial statements, and create insightful reports.
- Manage general ledger, reconciliations, accounts payable/receivable, and maintain healthy cash flow.
- Collaborate with the parent company for consolidated financial reporting and introduce cost accounting within our manufacturing context.
- Lead budgeting efforts, forecasting, and perform variance analysis.
- Partner with an external CPA to ensure compliance concerning tax audits.

Engage in payroll and HR duties, including processing payroll, ensuring tax compliance, administering benefits, and maintaining employee records. Serve as a key contact point for all HR-related inquiries.

Oversee daily office operations, managing vendor relationships, and supporting plant leadership with essential reporting and project initiation. Get acquainted with logistics and trucking coordination.

This role opens due to our ongoing transition and modernization phase, reflecting a shift from basic QuickBooks to a comprehensive QuickBooks Enterprise system and planning for a long-term ERP implementation. We seek an adaptive professional who excels in full-cycle accounting and can seamlessly contribute to HR functions, especially those with a manufacturing background.

The successful candidate will enjoy the rare opportunity to occupy a key plant-level leadership position, driving the development of necessary processes and ultimately stepping into a Controller-level role.
