Our company is seeking an experienced Consulting Accounting Manager to join our team of dedicated professionals in the Accounting and Finance industry. This dynamic role is perfect for an individual who loves to tackle challenges head-on and thrives in a fast-paced, high-growth environment. The Consulting Accounting Manager will play a pivotal role in managing and overseeing our financial operations, ensuring our company's financial health and compliance.

Responsibilities:
As a Consulting Accounting Manager, you will:

1. Oversee and manage the general accounting functions, including but not limited to: accounts payable, accounts receivable, and grower accounting.
2. Manage the monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.
3. Implement and maintain robust financial controls and procedures, ensuring compliance with GAAP and applicable federal, state, and local regulatory laws and rules for financial and tax reporting.
4. Perform cost analysis and set appropriate benchmarks to support the company's manufacturing operations.
5. Conduct regular audits to ensure the accuracy of financial information and adherence to financial procedures and policies.
6. Collaborate with other departments to streamline processes, improve financial transparency, and drive business growth.
7. Provide strategic financial input and leadership on decision-making issues affecting the organization.
8. Develop and manage financial systems/models and perform regular financial forecasting.

Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for the Consulting Accounting Manager role should possess:

1. A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. An advanced degree or professional accounting certification (CPA, CMA, etc.) is highly preferred.
2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a managerial accounting role, preferably in the manufacturing sector.
3. Proven experience in managing accounts payable and receivable, grower accounting, month-end reporting, and audits.
4. Strong knowledge of cost accounting and experience in creating financial statements.
5. Proficiency in accounting software, databases, and financial analysis tools.
6. Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to manage and direct the entire accounting team.
7. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present financial information in a clear and concise manner.
8. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
9. High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation.
10. Knowledge of current trends and developments in the accounting and finance industry.
