Accounting Manager (Contract / Contract-to-Hire)

Our client is seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to lead accounting operations and support a growing finance organization. This role is ideal for a hands-on leader who enjoys mentoring staff while driving process improvements.

Responsibilities

• Manage month-end close activities

• Review reconciliations and financial reporting

• Supervise and mentor accounting team members

• Support budgeting and forecasting processes

• Ensure compliance with internal controls and GAAP

• Lead special projects and process improvements

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance

• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience

• Previous management or supervisory experience

• Strong understanding of GAAP

• CPA preferred but not required
