Accounting Manager / Controller
Position Summary
Seeking a hands-on Accounting Manager / Controller to lead the company's accounting operations, financial reporting, budgeting, internal controls, and audit processes. This role will oversee daily accounting activities, manage a small team, and partner with leadership to support strategic business decisions.

Seeking a hands-on Accounting Manager / Controller to lead the company's accounting operations, financial reporting, budgeting, internal controls, and audit processes. This role will oversee daily accounting activities, manage a small team, and partner with leadership to support strategic business decisions.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee AP, AR, general ledger, fixed assets, cash management, and account reconciliations.
- Manage month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes.
- Prepare and review financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis efforts.
- Develop and maintain accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls.
- Coordinate internal and external audits and support tax compliance activities.
- Provide financial insights and recommendations to senior leadership.
- Mentor and develop accounting staff while fostering a collaborative team environment.
- Drive process improvements and support ERP/system enhancements.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- CPA preferred.
- 7+ years of progressive accounting experience.
- 3+ years of management or supervisory experience.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, budgeting, and internal controls.
- Experience with ERP systems and advanced Excel skills.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Hands-on, roll-up-your-sleeves mentality.
- Ability to balance day-to-day accounting responsibilities with strategic financial planning.
- Detail-oriented professional with a passion for process improvement and operational excellence.
