Accounting Manager

Salary: $110,000–$120,000

Why This Role Stands Out:

This is an opportunity to join a well-established manufacturing organization that is actively transforming its finance function and broader business operations. With new leadership in place and a focus on continuous improvement, this role offers the chance to make a meaningful impact from day one.

As Accounting Manager, you'll be more than a steward of the close process—you'll be a key partner in driving efficiency, improving reporting, and helping shape the future of the finance organization.

If you're energized by building processes, influencing change, and partnering across departments, this is the type of opportunity that can accelerate your career.

What makes this opportunity compelling:

  • High-visibility role reporting directly to the Director of Finance

  • Opportunity to help shape culture and improve business processes

  • Significant exposure to operations, engineering, customer service, and leadership

  • Blend of accounting leadership, analysis, forecasting, and process improvement

  • Ability to create lasting impact within a growing finance organization

  • Competitive compensation plus bonus potential

What You'll Do:

Lead the Close Process

Take ownership of key month-end close activities while helping streamline processes, improve efficiency, and elevate the overall accounting function.

Drive Forecasting & Financial Planning

Partner with business leaders to support monthly and quarterly forecasting activities, providing insights that help drive operational and financial decisions.

Deliver Meaningful Reporting

Transform financial and operational data into actionable reporting that helps leaders understand performance, identify risks, and seize opportunities.

Improve Processes & Controls

Bring fresh ideas and a continuous improvement mindset to strengthen policies, procedures, internal controls, and financial workflows.

Partner Across the Business

Work closely with operations, engineering, customer service, and leadership teams to improve communication, solve problems, and support company objectives.

Lead and Support the Team

Provide leadership and guidance while helping create a collaborative, high-performing finance environment.

What You Bring:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field

  • 6+ years of accounting experience

  • Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting

  • Experience managing month-end close processes

  • Advanced Excel skills, including:

    • Pivot tables

    • VLOOKUPs/XLOOKUPs

    • Complex formulas and data analysis

  • Strong analytical and reporting capabilities

  • Public accounting experience is a plus

  • Manufacturing experience is helpful but not required

Who Thrives Here:

  • Accounting professionals who enjoy improving processes and building efficiencies

  • Leaders who like partnering with multiple departments across an organization

  • Individuals who want visibility and influence beyond traditional accounting

  • Professionals who enjoy solving problems and driving change

  • Team players who can bring people together and build strong relationships

What Sets You Apart:

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills

  • Ability to bridge gaps between finance and operations

  • Process-improvement mindset

  • Natural leadership presence

  • Strong attention to detail while maintaining a big-picture perspective

  • Desire to create structure, consistency, and accountability

Bottom Line:

This is an outstanding opportunity for an experienced accounting professional who wants more than managing debits and credits.

If you're looking for a role where you can influence outcomes, improve processes, partner with leadership, and help shape the future of a manufacturing organization, this Accounting Manager position delivers the visibility, challenge, and growth potential you're looking for.
