A strong and rapidly growing company is seeking an experienced Accounting and Finance Manager to take ownership of the company financial operations. This is a key position for an accounting professional who can manage the daily accounting function while also providing financial reporting, analysis, and oversight to company leadership.

This role is ideal for someone with a strong accounting foundation who enjoys being hands on, working independently, and taking ownership of the financial function within a growing organization.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily accounting and financial operations
• Maintain accurate and complete financial records using QuickBooks
• Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable
• Manage general ledger activity, account reconciliations, and month end processes
• Prepare and review financial statements and management reports
• Monitor cash flow and provide visibility into the company financial position
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning
• Ensure financial records are accurate, organized, and current
• Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes, controls, and reporting
• Provide leadership with meaningful financial information to support business decisions
• Take ownership of accounting and financial processes as the company continues to grow

Qualifications

• Strong accounting and bookkeeping background
• Proficiency with QuickBooks
• Experience managing a broad range of accounting and financial responsibilities
• Strong understanding of general ledger accounting, reconciliations, accounts payable, and accounts receivable
• Experience preparing and reviewing financial statements and reports
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently, prioritize responsibilities, and take ownership of the accounting function
• Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively with company leadership
• Experience working within a growing company environment is a plus
