Description
General Ledger Accounting Manager (Contract) Location: Washington, DC (Onsite – 5 days/week) Pay: Market Rate (Estimated $50–$70/hour)
Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced General Ledger Accounting Manager for a contract engagement with a fast-paced, collaborative organization based in Washington, DC. This role will play a critical part in managing core accounting functions, supporting financial reporting, and ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial data across entities.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee general ledger accounting activities, including month-end close and account reconciliations
Support financial consolidations across multiple entities and ensure accurate reporting
Utilize NetSuite and Concur for daily accounting operations and expense management
Maintain accurate financial records in compliance with internal accounting policies and procedures
Partner cross-functionally to resolve accounting discrepancies and improve processes
Assist with audit support, including preparation of documentation and responding to requests
Qualifications:
Strong background in general ledger accounting
Experience with financial consolidations
Proficiency in NetSuite and Concur required
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
High level of attention to detail and strong organizational skills
Engagement Details:
Contract opportunity starting within the next two weeks
Expected duration through mid-November
Fully onsite role (5 days per week in Washington, DC)
