Accounting Manager

We are seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to join our team in Lake Zurich, IL. This role will oversee Accounts Receivable (AR), Accounts Payable (AP), and general accounting functions, ensuring accuracy and compliance across all financial processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in manufacturing or distribution environments and proven leadership skills.Key ResponsibilitiesManage day-to-day accounting operations, including AR, AP, and general ledger activities.Oversee month-end and year-end close processes and ensure timely financial reporting.Monitor cash flow, reconcile accounts, and maintain accurate financial records.Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures to improve efficiency.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support operational and financial goals.Supervise and mentor accounting staff, providing guidance and performance feedback.Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal controls.RequirementsEducation: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred).Experience: Minimum 5+ years of progressive accounting experience.Strong background in AR, AP, and general accounting.Experience in manufacturing or distribution industry required.Skills: Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Excel.Strong analytical, organizational, and leadership skills.Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.Benefits: Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance; 401(k) with Company Match; Paid Time Off and Holidays.Equal Opportunity Employer/Veterans/DisabledCandidate Privacy Information Statement URL:
