Accounting Manager - Manufacturing

A consumer products company located in the San Gabriel area is looking for an Accounting Manager on a contract-to-hire basis. In this position, the Accounting Manager will be responsible for the accounting team and managing the day-to-day general accounting functions. Duties for the Accounting Manager include conducting general ledger management, accruals, account reconciliation, financial statement preparation, and month / quarter / year-end closes. The Accounting Manager will also handle inventory management, prepare financials and write footnotes for various audits, assist with enhancing accounting policies and procedures, handle cash flow management and reporting, additional ad hoc financial reporting functions, as well as accounting pronouncement research.

• Qualified candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
• Must have manufacturing or similar industry experience.
• 2+ years of management experience is essential.
• 5+ years of accounting experience (month/quarter/year-end closes, audits, reconciliation, revenue recognition, etc.) is needed.
• Background of using AI to streamline processes is needed.
• Strong systems and MS office skills are needed. Sage 100 is preferred.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills are also required.
• Pay, $55 - 60/hr.
