Our client, a well-established and growing organization, is seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to join its leadership team. This is a highly visible role offering the opportunity to oversee day-to-day accounting operations, lead a talented team, and partner closely with senior leadership to support continued growth and operational excellence.


Reporting directly to the Controller/CFO, the Accounting Manager will play a key role in ensuring accurate financial reporting, strengthening internal controls, and driving process improvements across the accounting function.

Key Responsibilities



  • Manage the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes

  • Review journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial schedules

  • Ensure compliance with GAAP and company accounting policies

  • Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements and management reports

  • Supervise Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and general accounting functions

  • Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow planning

  • Coordinate annual audits and serve as a primary contact for external auditors

  • Maintain and strengthen internal controls and accounting procedures

  • Support system enhancements and process improvement initiatives

  • Mentor and develop accounting team members

  • Partner with operational leaders to provide financial insights and support decision-making


Ideal Background



  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

  • CPA designation or CPA-track preferred

  • 5+ years of progressive accounting experience

  • Prior supervisory or management experience

  • Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting

  • Experience with month-end close, audits, and account reconciliations

  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills

  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment

  • Experience within distribution, manufacturing, healthcare, professional services, or similar industries is a plus


Compensation & Benefits


Base Salary: $90,000 - $110,000
