What You''ll Do: As the Accounting Manager, you will oversee the financial close process and ensure the highest standards of financial accuracy. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Financial Reporting & Close Management: Oversee the preparation of accurate and timely journal entries and comprehensive reconciliations for monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes. Ensure the preparation and distribution of monthly financial statements, maintaining compliance with IFRS, and internal policies.
  • Revenue Recognition & Contract Analysis: Review Master Service Agreements (MSAs) and Scopes of Work (SOWs) to ensure accurate application of revenue recognition policies in accordance with IFRS 15. Analyze complex contractual terms, identify performance obligations, and collaborate with client finance teams.
  • Analysis & Decision Support: Provide insightful reports and conduct in-depth data analysis to support critical financial decision-making, identifying trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement. Oversee budget preparation and analysis, and review monthly commission calculations.
  • Audit & Compliance: Maintain robust internal controls and ensure audit readiness (SOX). Lead internal and external audit processes, preparing documentation and responding to inquiries.
  • General Ledger & Asset Management: Oversee the management of the General Ledger and maintain fixed asset , intangible assets and depreciation schedules, working closely with the Controller and Assistant Controller.
  • Monthly Financial Reporting: Cross-train to enter monthly results into central reporting system.
  • Process Automation: Apply AI tools to expedite reporting, analysis, and controls.
  • Team Leadership & Development: Supervise, mentor accounting professionals, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth.

What You''ll Bring:

  • Experience: 5+ years of progressive experience in accounting, including supervisory or management experience, with a strong understanding of complex financial operations and revenue recognition.
  • Technical Acumen: CPA designation is strongly preferred. Demonstrated expert-level proficiency in Microsoft Excel (including advanced functions and macros) and other Microsoft Office programs. Strong knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), specifically IFRS 15 and IFRS 16, is highly preferred. Experience with ERP systems is a plus.
  • Forward-Thinking Mindset: Proven ability and enthusiasm to leverage Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools and platforms for data analysis, process automation, and predictive insights.
  • Analytical Prowess: Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with a proven ability to interpret complex financial data.
  • Communication & Collaboration: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex financial information clearly and collaborate across departments.
  • Organizational Skills: Ability to handle multiple priorities, manage time effectively, and consistently meet tight deadlines.

  • Leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and develop accounting staff, and a desire to contribute to the growth of the finance team.

The base salary for this position at the time of this posting may range from $70,000 to $140,000. Individual compensation varies based on job related factors, including business needs, experience, level of responsibility and qualifications.
