Job Overview

Abitec Corporation is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accounting Manager to join our team. This is a full-time position based in our New Johnsonville, Tennessee, United States office. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the accounting department's daily operations, ensuring the integrity of all financial data, and contributing to the financial health and strategy of our organisation. We are looking for a proactive professional who can manage accounting functions and lead a team to success. This role offers a competitive salary of $500 - $1,000 USD per week.

Responsibilities

* Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department, including month-end and year-end processes, accounts payable/receivable, cash receipts, and general ledger.
* Monitor and analyse accounting data to produce accurate and timely financial reports and statements.
* Establish and enforce proper accounting methods, policies, and principles in line with US GAAP.
* Coordinate and complete annual audits and liaise with external auditors.
* Develop and implement new systems and procedures to enhance the efficiency of the department and initiate corrective actions where necessary.
* Supervise and mentor accounting staff, assigning tasks and projects to ensure compliance and accuracy.
* Establish and maintain fiscal files and records to document all transactions and ensure data integrity.
* Support the senior leadership team with budget forecasting and financial planning.

Qualifications

* Proven working experience as an Accounting Manager, Accounting Supervisor, or Finance Manager.
* A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required.
* Strong knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles, practices, standards, laws, and regulations.
* Advanced computer skills, particularly with MS Office, accounting software, and databases.
* High attention to detail, accuracy, and the ability to work to strict deadlines.
* Excellent leadership and team management skills.
* Professional certification such as CPA or CMA is highly desirable.
