This leadership role oversees all accounting and financial operations including financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, compliance, inventory management, and continuous improvement initiatives within a manufacturing environment. Top requirements include a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business, at least 3 years of financial experience, and strong leadership and analytical skills with the ability to support operational and financial decision-making.

Qualifications & Requirements
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business required
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a finance or accounting-related role required
• Strong knowledge of accounting operations, financial reporting, and budgeting processes
• Ability to lead accounting functions including general ledger, accounts payable, tax, and fixed assets
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to lead and develop finance team members
• Commitment to workplace safety and compliance standards
• Ability to support audits, internal controls, and process improvement initiatives
• Willingness to pursue future Department Manager opportunities, including possible relocation within 3–5 years
• Preferred: CPA, CMA, MBA, or Master’s Degree
• Preferred: Manufacturing or cost accounting experience
• Preferred: Leadership or supervisory experience
• Preferred: SAP experience

 

Key Responsibilities
• Lead all accounting and finance functions including general ledger, accounts payable, tax, fixed assets, and compliance reporting
• Oversee forecasting, budgeting support, monthly balancing, and inventory management activities
• Ensure timely and accurate recording and reporting of financial transactions and accounting records
• Lead implementation and communication of accounting policies, controls, and system improvements
• Supervise internal and external audit processes while maintaining strong internal controls
• Provide financial analysis and accounting support to operational departments
• Drive continuous cost improvement initiatives across business operations
• Lead training, mentoring, and development efforts for finance department teammates
• Collaborate with division leadership to support strategic financial planning and operational goals
• Uphold all company safety policies, procedures, and housekeeping standards
