Oxford Solutions is working with a growing client seeking an Accounting Manager for a contract-to-hire opportunity. This onsite role is ideal for a hands-on professional who enjoys owning billing operations, accounts receivable processes, and day-to-day administrative functions in a fast-paced environment.

This position will play a key role in ensuring invoicing accuracy, managing collections activities, supporting operational processes, and helping maintain organization across multiple business functions. 

Responsibilities:

  • Manage invoicing processes to ensure accurate and timely customer billing
  • Oversee accounts receivable and collections activities
  • Support accounts payable processing and vendor coordination
  • Monitor outstanding balances and follow up on overdue accounts
  • Supervise and support one direct report responsible for administrative and accounting support functions
  • Assist leadership with operational and administrative tasks
  • Maintain organized records and reporting related to operational activities, including fleet tracking and related documentation
  • Help improve internal workflows, organization, and process efficiency
  • Ensure billing and operational tasks are completed accurately and on schedule

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience in billing, accounts receivable/payable, accounting operations, or administrative management
  • At least 3 years of experience with QuickBooks Online is required
  • Proven experience managing invoicing and collections processes
  • Previous experience supervising or leading at least one direct report
  • Strong organizational, multitasking, and follow-through skills
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced operational environment
  • Strong communication and problem-solving abilities
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel
